On the afternoon of 24, Donation Ceremony for Wang Xuelian Fund of Institute of International Studies, Tsinghua University was held in East Wing of The H Hall. The fund was established with RMB21 million of donation by Ms. Wang Xuelian, a member of China Democratic League and Chairman of Board of Beijing Jialian Real Estate (Group) Limited. The related leaders attended the donation ceremony, including Jiang Shusheng, Vice Chairman of NPC Standing Committee, Ge Jianping, Chairman of China Democratic League Beijing Committee, Zhu Erdeng, Vice Chairman of China Democratic League Beijing Committee, Gu Binglin, President of Tsinghua University, He Meiying, Chairman of Council of Tsinghua University Education Foundation, Cheng Jianping, Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection and other leaders of Tsinghua University.
Ms. Wang Xuelian, young and promising, has made great achievement in her career after nearly 10 years of business and development. She actively feed back the society to benefit others when she succeeds. She keenly perceives great significance of economic diplomacy studies to the national development and donates to set up Wang Xuelian Fund to support the Research Center of Economy and Diplomacy of Institute of International Studies.
